Happy Fourth of July

So we spent the Fourth of July at the Choates with Janey, Kris, Kari, Corey, Casey, Mitzi, Rob, Megan, Nathan, Logan, Mike, Lise, Kayla, and Blake. There was food, swimming, ice cream eating contests, cannon ball contests, and a whole bunch of fun stuff!!!! Here Brady is playing ball with all of the kiddies!

Me and Nathan doing the water balloon toss contest!!! We did pretty well after I taught Nathan how to NOT throw over hand.... on the flip side, Logan was using Brady as target practice and kept getting water balloons and chucking them at Brady!

Ventura Beach

We went to Ventura Beach with the Burrill family last Sunday to catch some waves, sand, and sun! (And to get away from the 100 degree heat in Santa Clarita)! It was a blast we did some boogie boarding, played in the waves, played some football, and sat in the sun. Just a nice day at the beach.

OMG!!!! The waves were definately big and definately COLD the first few minutes we were in there.... 1.2.3 you just got to dive in.... instead of prolong the agony.

And we are finally heading out!

Gym Jam Camp

Here are some of the coaches and counselors dancing together at the end of camp dance.

Gym Jam camp was a really fun experience for me. It was held up on University of Santa Barbaras campus, so it was georgious. I met a lot of cool new people. Got to coach along side FIVE olympians (3 American olympians and 2 Canadian olympians) as well as many other collegiate gymnasts from around the nation: we had guy gymnasts/coaches from Nebraska, UCLA, and THE Ohio State, we had girl gymnasts from UCLA, Boise State, Oregon State, Michigan State, UC Fullerton, and UC Sacramento, as well as many other experienced coaches. I learned a lot and enjoyed coaching the many different types of gymnasts and levels that I was able to coach. Hopefully I will have the opportunity to work at the camp next year.

California Shower

Today I had my California Bridal Shower at Janie's house hosted by Mitzi and Kris!!! It was a ton of fun and they did some cute things, and I got some cute things!!!

Here I am laughing at whatever it is Brady is saying.... See Mitzi asked Brady a question and recorded it, and then Mitzi asked me the same question seeing what I would answer... think of the game show about the Newly Weds.... it was pretty nerve racking, but I think me and Brady passed.

The undies was a really cute idea as well. Each person invited to the shower was instructed to bring me a pair of undies, and then attached to the undies was a little something that was about the person who gave them to me, and then I was supposed to guess who gave me which undies... for more pics of the undies check out Mitzi's blog.
