San Diego Zoo

Brady and I went to the San Diego Zoo on Saturday. We had so much fun! It was the perfect day and the perfect weather for the zoo, partly cloudy and in the 60's. It was great. We saw a lot of things, but by the time we wanted to see the cold blooded animals, it was to cold for them (we didn't see any of the turtles hang out outside because we got there too late).

Who wants to be in the glass with this little guy?
The gorilla family just hanging out eating lunch. The baby is checkin us out.
The panda bear... isn't it adorable.
Mitzi, these two pictures are for you...

Doesn't he look like the zebra from Madagascar? The Hippo is getting ready to go into the water for a swim.
He is an angry hippo
Oh my goodness... what type of strange animal is this?!?!
This gorilla was the mean one of the whole family.... everytime he came around the little ones ran away or climbed on their mama's back.

It's Timon and his buddy looking to see whats going on.
The elephant.
The camel just hanging out enjoying the weather.
Don't worry, Timon is not alone, here is Pumbaa!!!The Polar bear was just eating a little lunch.

Big Ten Opener versus Minnesota

This was the greatest game to go to. The Izzone (MSU's student section) was still on break, so we were able to take some of the Izzones seats and sit third row up from the floor right behind the Minnesota bench! We were able to see and hear everything. Tubby Smith is Minnesota's new coach and boy does he have an evil stare!!! It was really cool being able to see everything from there. We took tons of pictures and hopefully most turned out. MSU beat Minnesota by six point and start off the Big Ten season 1-0. Their next game is against Purdue on Tuesday! Let's Go STATE!!!
The National Championship floor from 2000.... This year we could be heading back there.... Getting geared up for the first big ten contest of the year!!!
Here come the starting Spartans! #11 Drew Neitzel #5 Travis Walton #41 Marquise Gray #14 Goran Suton #2 Raymar Morgan

The final score: 8 - 2

In addition to all of the basketball games we got tickets to a hockey game as well. The seats were AWESOME... 3rd row! The game was between the Michigan State Spartans and Lake Superior State. Michigan State won the game 8 - 2, so it was a good game for us to attend. On the way to Munn Ice Arena we decided to take a few pictures with Sparty at night.... let me tell you... it was sssssssooooo cold.

Snow on Campus

Campus is so beautiful all times of year... my favorite time on campus is when the leaves are turning colors, snow has fallen, or when the trees and flowers start to bud. That is when I think campus is the most beautiful. Here are some pictures of a snow blanketed campus.

SNOW DAY!!!!

Woke up to this, this morning Dressed and ready to play in the snow
Me working hard on the snowman.... Brady watching over
Snowball fight
Watch out... my dad's got his ammo ready!!!

Brady pulling me down into the snow. Contrary to any former belief... snow is NOT soft... there is hard ground underneath all the fluffy white stuff. Brady helping by "sprinkling" snow onto the snowman's head
Our little baby snowman we built. We were out there for a good hour or so, and thats all we could make, the snow wasn't packing enough to make a bigger one.
Here is Brady and I in the snow after Brady tackled me down

Me making a snow angel
We had a good time playing in the snow!!!! It was nice to feel like a kid again on a snow day!!! Just going out and having a good, silly time!!! We topped off the snow with a nice warm and toasty grilled cheese for lunch! It was perfect!!!!
