Florida

After the cruise we stayed in Florida with Christina for a couple days. We spent one day down at Ft. Lauderdale beach, another day we went to see Batman and then off to eat at a restaraunt on the beach, and the last day we went to a Marlins' game! It was a fabulous time and we were so grateful of Christina's hospitality.

Cozumel

Cozumel was our more relaxing excursion... We got a day pass at a Wyndham all inclusive resort, layed out in the sun, played in the ocean and in the pool, Brady did a bit of snorkeling. After we left we headed into downtown Cozumel and got ourselves a nice refreshing margarita because we were in Mexico... and tequila is Mexico's well known liquor. Then a little shopping and then back to the boat for the last time.
There Brady is, he is upset either because I am taking a picture of him in his snorkel equipment or because of the fact that I am not going out there with him.once a gymnast, always a gymnast
The beautiful caribbean waters!

As am I....
Bye Cozumel

Belize

Belize had to have been one of my favorite places we stopped. We went to a little island off of Belzie called Bannister Island which couldn't have been longer than a quarter of a mile, we spent a couple of hours there lying out in the sun, exploring, swimming in the crisp clear water, and collecting sea shells, once we were done at the island we went with our tour guides in search of the endangered manitees.... and guess what we saw FOUR!!!! We were the only excursion (the ten of us) that went in search of manitees! The guides said they had not seen any manitees in two weeks so we were really lucky, we also got to see two dolphins, so we got two for the price of one!
Now how ugly is that water? We heard the cause of this was anwhere from Hurricane Dolly stirring up the sand to the boats stirring up the sand, and then the boats and their oil to the inlet of a river.Bannister Island
Now this water is way better!!!!
I had to!
Scenery of the island
Thats how long it was.. to about where that shed is.
Checking things out
Me just being a dork
Sitting on the dock of the bay wasting time

Roatan Bay, Honduras

Well Roatan was an eye opener.... it was a very poor island in comparison to all of the other ones we went to, but great none the less. As you walked down the little "shops" (tents sent up where they sold many types of things, and bartered over the prices) these little boys (approximately seven years old) would come up to you and try to be your "tour guide" while "shopping."
These folks were here to greet our ship.
I decided to go ahead and dance with one of themBrady trying out the local beer
One of the many beautiful flowers found there
Me with a parrot on my shoulder... Can you believe it?

Doesn't it look like the monkey from Outbreak?
Brady holding the little guy.... he is cute, but not as cute as our Beaumont.
The monkey just hanging out on my shoulder eating!!!

Saying goodbye to Honduras!

Grand Cayman DAY 1

Our first day on the islands of our cruise dropped us off at Grand Cayman. Our excursion for the day brought us into Stingray City which is a sandbar about ten miles or so off of Grand Cayman where fisherman used to dump their left over bait which attracted lots and lots of stingrays! To this day the stingrays (non harmful) still come back to the sandbar. Now it is more of a tourist site where people can swim with the stingray, hold the stingray, kiss the stingray for seven year good luck (which I did), or get a back massage from the stingray (which Brady did). After that we headed off to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville for lunch and then back to the ship. On the boat riding to stingray city.
This is the color of the ocean!!!! No joke..... Doesn't it look like pool water? It was absolutely georgious! This is where we are in the water with the stingrays.
Brady holding a stingray.
The most beautiful water I have ever seen!!!!!

Outside in the outdoor bar/lounge area of Jimmy Buffet's Margarittaville was a waterslide and pool, so after I ate my lunch and we were just about ready to head out to the ship I decided to cool off with a slide down the waterslide and a dip in the pool. Why not? We are on vacation!
Wasted away again in Margaritaville!!!! Cayman Islands.Waiting in line to board our ship. Because the water is not deep enough at the docks we had to port in the water and then get tender boats to drive us back to the ship.
