Chichen Itza

Our day trip to Chichen Itza ~ any information you want on Chichen Itza click HERE
Kukulkan Pyramid

Thousand Columns: These were great meeting halls.
Temple of the Warriors ~ It was one of the only structures that could be big enough for really large gatherings.

The Great Ball Court ~ The Ballcourt is 225 feet wide, 545 feet long. The winner of the game gets beheaded and sacraficed to the Gods.

Tzompantli ~ otherwise known as "The Wall of Skulls," this is where the heads of sacrificial victims were placed.

Some Mayan dancers stop for a picture during lunch. On our way to Chichen Itza we stopped at Cenote Ik-kil. The sacred blue cenote is the transparent water keeps the secret of the baths of the Maya kings and their courtesans.
And Brady went ahead and jumped in!!!!!! Like he is a Mayan king ;)

Absolutely AMAZING :)
