PLEASE... if you are a reader... or are trying to get into reading... I have an online book club. We just started reading The Girl Who Played With Fire. Or maybe, you aren't a reader... but know someone who is... let them know. It is nice to read a nice variety of books. Right now it is just my mom, my Aunt, and myself. And we would love to get more involved to get a variety of thoughts on the books! Let me know!

Five for Fridays

So, it was a very exhausting week.... but it was a good one!!!!! Or at least was a great weekend... which led to the exhausting week. 1) Went to the VHS football game tonight and bought myself a new shirt! When we left at the end of the third quarter, Valencia was up 42 - 7. (And this was supposed to be the game that they were "tested" on...) Welp, looks like its going to be a good football season for the Vikings!

2) Flew back to Michigan for approximately a total of 30 hours or so. But was able to spend some quality time with my mom! I love you mom thanks for everything. (You to dad!!!!)

3) I know I already posted this on my 365 blog.... But seriously... how cool are these undies. Ordered these from Victoria's Secret last week, and they came in JUST AFTER we left for Michigan... so they were waiting for me when we got back!!!! Yup!!! I am wearing a pair right now ;)

4) Glee is becoming one of my FAVORITE shows. It started back up this week, and I loved the first episode of season 2. If you have not watched it.... You should try... If you LOVE music it is the best... It's on Tuesday nights at 8!

5) And of course... the day that started off the week for me.... Michigan State versus Notre Dame. We flew out for this game.... It has been six years now since Brady and myself first "met." Which was at the ND MSU game six years ago!!! We go back to MSU's campus every other year for this game.... This one was a CRAZY one... back and forth, back and forth... until it goes into overtime... ND kicks a field goal.... so then michigan state goes to kick a field goal to send it into double overtime... but wait.... our kicker is not kicking it.... what?!?!?! It's a fake... Michigan State TD to win it in overtime!!!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!!!
And then with some crazy news... a half hour later, Coach Dantonio has a heart attack... That was definately a weekend of highs and lows for a spartan fan. But, Mark Dantonio was released from the hospital on Tuesday and is doing well.

Well, what have we done in the past three years???

WOW!!!! Three years! I am so grateful to have such a wonderful husband, who is as outgoing, passionate, wacky, and loving as I am. We have done so much in these past three years, and look forward to many more trips and experiences to come!!!! Here is some of the things we have done in the past three years!!!!! Otis's wedding up in Santa Cruz. So instead of just going up for the wedding, we decided to make a weekend of it and went to Muir Woods, San Francisco, and Hearst Castle.

Muir Woods!

Then we have our annual big WOW vacation. This year, brought us back to Kauai (where we spent our honeymoon three years earlier). Kauai is our favorite vacation spot, and it would be a dream of ours to some day own or rent a vacation home out there!

And we have made many great friends throughout our time here, Lauren and Sean have to be our best. This year, they FINALLY came out to visit us. Now we are just trying to talk them to moving out here... after visiting, the realize it is not a hard sell!

We have both learned to snowboard together.... (Brady's not quite as into it as I am, but he is managing!!!) Here we are up at Mammoth this past winter.

And many many sporting events. This past February was Brady's 30th birthday. So I planned a surprise birthday for Brady which involved a LA Kings hockey game!

Final Four #2. This past spring, MSU made it yet again to a Final Four. I am so lucky to have a husband who is as fanatical as I am into MSU sports.... We may not have quite had the money for this trip, but we made it work anyway!

Whale watching!!!!! Brady's goal is to one day see a Blue Whale... It was his mom's hope to see one, and since she never did, Brady and I are on a mission to find one!

One of our, now, annual trips down to Chicago over Christmas Break to watch MSU play at Northwestern for basketball!!!! Again.... we are fanatics!

We have now been to at least two to three home MSU football games each year that we have been married... (and yes, I know, we live in California). But there is nothing like going on campus and cheering for your team, live and in person. Along with going into our fourth year of marriage, this is going on to be our fourth year as MSU football season ticket holders :)

We have gone to numerous weddings together...

Our one big "WOW" trip in 2009, was the all inclusive Excellence Resort Trip in Cancun!

It was AWESOME!!!!!

Final four trip #1 for us! This was the first year we flew out for MSU's final four appearance. It was well worth our money, seeing as MSU made it to the National Championship game.... didn't quite win it.... but came oh so close.

Brad and Brittany's wedding in New Hampshire in the summer of 2008.

Our big vacation in Summer of 2008 was a Western Caribbean cruise. This was the first cruise I had been on, and was amazing! Above we are swimming with stingrays! That is ocean water...not pool water!

A Marlin's baseball game down in Miami.

Cozumel, still from our Caribbean cuise.

Many a winter's spent in Michigan for Christmas vacation. This one happened to me December of 2007, our first Christmas as a married couple!

Brady and I at the Notre Dame MSU game..... where it all started a couple years back!!!!

And here we are, at the MSU opener, up in Berkely. MSU played at Cal, so Brady and I said... well, they are in the state of California, lets go! A five hour drive later, we were there!

And our first "WOW" vacation as a married couple: Kauai. Our honeymoon!
Love doing trips to down Memory Lane!!! Can't wait to see whats in store next!
